I am a radical psychanalytically, informed therapist.
What this means is that though I integrate analytic theory and technique into my work, it is through an intersectional feminist/queer theory lens that tries to be liberated from structures of white supremacy and colonialism.
I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques as needed, self-compassion work, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Interventions as part of evidence-based treatment for example with Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, and Social Phobia for symptom alleviation.
However, I favor and lean toward exploratory work that will assist you in living a life that is in accordance with your values and one that is more free from the shackles of past pains and trauma.
I consult intermittently with psychiatric and medical providers, schools, and members of spiritual communities as part of my health-focused and holistic practice.
